| The system designer is the
programmer - and the person you will go to for support. You
work with one person, who becomes fully aquainted with your business
and your needs.
The first step is to meet
with you to discuss the application you need developed.
The second step is for us to
write a Specification Proposal (SP). This will include
a system design, and all the specifications for the project based on
the initial meeting, as well as the proposed cost of completing the
project. The fee for the SP will depend on the scope of
the project, and will be determined during the initial meeting.
The cost of the SP will also
depend on the scope of the project. You will be informed of
the cost in writing within several days of the initial
meeting. We will begin the SP after receiving written approval
from you.
The cost of the SP covers
the system design that is included in it. If you choose not to
use our company, the SP is yours, and, since you paid for it, you
are free to discuss our system design with any other company.
Should you choose to use our company, the cost of the SP is applied
toward the total system cost.
Upon approval of the SP, we
will begin writing the application. How and when payment is to
be made, how the project is to be phased (if at all), project
schedules, and what information we may need from you, will all be
described in the SP, since these will generally vary by project.
Once the application has
been delivered, approved, and paid for, we remain available for
support. This includes changes you might want to make to the
application, questions and training in its use, and of course, the
resolution of any bugs that might be in the system. We will be
responsible for eliminating bugs. All other support can be
handled on a per incident fee basis, or with a maintenance
contract |
